Chinley Buxworth and Brownside Community Association are a charity supporting community activity in the Parish. We were established in 2006 following the first Parish Plan, and have been growing and developing ever since.
Our volunteers work with other community organisations to provide and promote community activities, events and venues for all. For more information about the Community Association and how we operate,

Chinley
Chinley is a rural village in the High Peak Borough of Derbyshire, England, Most of the civil parish (called Chinley, Buxworth and Brownside) is within the Peak District National Park.
Buxworth
Buxworth is a village in the High Peak of Derbyshire, England. The area, which was once an important centre for the limestone industry, became the terminus of the Peak Forest Canal. Its pub, the Navigation Inn, was once owned by Coronation Street actress Pat Phoenix
Brownside
BROWNSIDE is 2 miles east from Chinley and 1 ½ north from Chapel-en-le-Frith. The land is held by numerous small owners. The soil is a dark loam; subsoil, grit stone. The land is chiefly used for grazing purposes.

The Chinley, Buxworth & Brownside Community Association is an organisation set up to deliver a range of community and leisure improvements in the Parish. It came about through the Parish Plan consultation in 2005 and has been set up to make the Parish a better place to live, work and spend your spare time.
