LITTER
WHEN VISITING THE PARK PLEASE TAKE ALL LITTER HOME OR PUT IT IN THE BINS PROVIDED AT EACH END OF THE MAIN FOOTPATH .
WORKING PARTIES
There are Working Parties in the Park every second Saturday of the Month. We meet 10.00 to 1.00 in the Park. We welcome any help, all we ask is that suitable footwear and clothing are worn. Hand Tools are available and light refreshments. It is cheaper than the gym and the energy you use is up to you. We are a friendly bunch and you would be made very welcome. There are many projects on going, some needing a lot of strength others of a more gentle kind. The date of next Working Party is always posted on the Notice Boards at either end of the Park.
The Friends of the Park were delighted to be nominated by Emma Dagless from Natural England for an Excellence in the Community Award.
The Friends are grateful to Derbyshire County Council, High Peak Borough Council, Chinley, Buxworth and Brownside Parish Council for help with our projects.
Derbyshire Wildlife have drawn up a plan for the further development of the Nature Reserve over the next 5-10 years.
