Chinley Station turns 150

Chinley station was opened on 2 February 1867. There will be celebrations later in the summer, organised by Chinley & Buxworth Transport Group. For now, here are a selection of photos provided by local historian, Keith Holford.

1902. The original Chinley Station house being dismantled when the lines were widened from 2 to 4. It was rebuilt as Naze House on Maynestone Road.
